My Approach
How can communication and relationships lead to positive outcomes to the social determinants of health? If there is one question that had driven my career, this would be it.
Through my near decade of experiences in the non-profit sector, I’ve looked to intervene on structural economic and health issues. For me, that journey began by managing relationships and marketing programs to connect young people to outdoor activities and early career readiness programs.
Subsequent experiences have broadened that impact to include marketing strategy and account management securing funding for students with need and transformative gifts from corporate founders for research and new, innovative degree programs.
Effective communication, strong relationships, and a collaborative approach to deliver on key goals and objectives for internal and external stakeholders (volunteers, funders, etc.) have been the keys to success throughout.
Beyond work, I enjoy learning about the past, particularly the history of medicine and how it relates to the current state of healthcare. I also enjoy travelling, soccer, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.
